how do you make everything look so crisp and awesome ;_; I want to lear how to do that, but my paintworks look so flat and faded. ;_; like so [link] do you think you could point me in the right direction?

Yes the mountains were from a photograph and then painted over. Im still learning so much, and im starting to get more comfortable with my brush strokes and design choices.
You should try tutorials on youtube! Those of 'Feng Zhu' are really good but mayb a bit hard when ur starting.
As for getting more depth in your piece, u should add more colours. Eyes see something as green, but in fact there mayb red/ yellow / purple pixels in there. Shades often have more blues in there, because of the sky (being the second light source). And the highlight should have colours of the primary light source in there, in this case the orange / yellow.
And also experiment a lot with different compositions, brushes and the blending modes of photoshop brushes/layers.
